I became a tailor in an unusual way - I started as an amateur. It irritated me that store-bought suits didn't fit me the way I wanted them to. I started researching the topic and became fascinated by the world of tailoring. For several years, I learned on my own how to sew a well-fitting jacket or trousers using traditional methods. I wasted dozens of meters of material and hundreds of hours on subsequent attempts, which was sometimes very frustrating.
When I managed to sew jackets that looked good (not perfect yet, but much better than what I could buy in the store), I started showing them on the butwbutonierce.pl forum (then bespoke.pl) and the first ones appeared. questions about custom sewing.
At first, I was reluctant to accept paid jobs, but over time I became skilled enough to start making money from my work with a clear conscience. I also had the opportunity to do an internship in London, where I improved my skills in sewing jackets according to Savile Row methods. After years of supplementing my main job with custom sewing, in 2018 I decided to devote myself to it full-time.
Today, I enjoy the recognition of such authorities as Bernhard Roetzel, I have regular customers in Warsaw and Berlin, and among connoisseurs I am listed as one of the best tailors in Poland.
