My name is Dawid Kukliński. I am a bespoke tailor and I run my own workshop in Wejherowo, Poland. Every commission begins with a conversation and a blank sheet of paper. For each client, I cut an individual pattern and build the garment from scratch, taking into account your build, your proportions, the way you move and the occasions you will wear it for.

Not every
made-to-measure
garment is bespoke
In made-to-measure, the starting point is an existing block, adjusted to the client's measurements. Much of the garment's construction is determined before the first fitting.
Bespoke is something else entirely. It is for those who want a garment created for one person, and one person only.
It begins with an individual pattern, allowing me to build the entire structure of the garment around one specific figure. At the first fitting, the jacket is still open and only loosely basted together. This is when I can refine its length, the shape of the fronts, the shoulder line, the waist and the way the garment moves with the body.
The fitting is not a final check. It is part of the making of the garment.

Real bespoke is not defined by the colour of the lining, contrasting stitching or initials embroidered under the collar.
The jacket is built on a full floating canvas, never fused. The canvas gives the garment its shape without taking away its softness. It allows the jacket to move naturally with the body and develop its character over time.
A single jacket can take up to 80 hours of work. The lapels are hand-padded with hundreds of stitches, the pattern of the cloth is carefully matched and the buttonholes are sewn by hand. Every detail has a purpose: not simply to make the garment look right, but to make it last.
My approach
In my work, I combine English proportions with Italian softness. I value the clarity and structure of English tailoring, but without unnecessary stiffness. From Italian tailoring, I take lightness and ease, while avoiding excessive detail and passing trends.
I do not impose one cut on every client. I look for the right solution for a particular person. If you do not have a fixed idea in mind, I will propose balanced proportions that will still look right years from now.

You do not have to start with a suit
You can commission a jacket on its own, and many of my clients begin exactly this way.
The jacket is one of the most demanding pieces in a man's wardrobe. It is where construction, shoulder line and proportion become most apparent. If you want to understand what separates bespoke from something bought off the rack, a jacket is a good place to start.
From the first
conversation to
the finished
garment
We begin with a conversation about your needs, your figure and your wardrobe. We establish where you will wear the garment, what you want it to achieve and what you will wear it with. Then we choose the style, the cloth and the details. I take your measurements and prepare an individual pattern.
At the first fitting, we work with the raw, open construction of the jacket. I refine the proportions, shoulder line, length, waist and freedom of movement. At the second fitting, the garment is closer to its final form. We check the sleeves, trousers and the smaller points of fit.
Only then is the jacket closed and finished by hand. At collection, we go through the entire garment together and make any final small adjustments.

It all
started with
I became interested in tailoring around 2005. I wanted to understand why the clothes I liked in magazines never looked the same once I bought them.
Over time, I developed my craft alongside experienced tailors in Poland and in London. My work was also noticed by Bernhard Roetzel, the German author and writer on classic menswear. This led to my regular work with clients in Germany.
In 2018, I left my previous career and devoted myself entirely to tailoring. Today, I run my workshop in Wejherowo. I meet every client personally, cut every pattern myself and conduct all the fittings.

The “from” prices reflect a real starting point. I don't leave it at that, though - once we've agreed on the details, you'll receive a precise summary and a full quotation before any work begins.
